If all these comets come from a brown dwarf, we should see other debris flying through the solar system and not just comets...the numbers of increased fireballs should parallel the increases in comet numbers but only if said object has interacted with Kuiper belt and even the asteroid belt. If a large object is the single cause the fireballs should show up later than the comets as something coming into the solar system then the fireball appearances should run behind the comet appearances. Which is the exact trend this video shows you.
