Following the dramatic series of rises in sea-levels that marked the ending of the last Ice Age, it is inevitable that more and more evidence of ancient civilisation will be discovered on the continental shelves and shallow seas, and even further out in the oceans everywhere around the world.
The discovery of other, similar structures beneath the sea of Japan was also announced.
If these prove to be similar to the Yonaguni pyramid they may rewrite the history of early man.
I think the time has come for a new scientific paradigm.
One that is more open minded, less controlling and agenda driven.
The evidence is mounting up exponentially that what the educational system teaches us is not the whole story.
Most scientists wont go against the grain of what is the accepted view because they will be ostracized or their funding will be cut.

So perhaps Man was a spiritual being rather than a materialistic being.
Somewhere along the line we lost this spirituality, and degraded into a materialistic consumerism.
As a consequence of this, Man is plagued by greed, wars, poverty, slavery and all other ills of what we call "civilization".
But this is all that we know. No matter how hard we try to cure these ills, we always fail because we rely on material solutions to solve the ills created by materialism.
